Fresh Produce

Steve and Kerina have been immersed in the produce industry for 30 years. In August 2018, we launched our new facility in Wiri, complete with ripening rooms and cool storage spaces. Steve, Ben, and our head ripener, Saimone, spent countless hours grinding and polishing the floors to ensure optimal conditions.

Our operations extend beyond ripening bananas; we also ripen avocados and kiwifruit and import a range of tropical fruits, including bananas, pineapples, mangoes, and even kiwifruit when out of season in New Zealand. Our facility processes around 20-30+ trucks per day and over 50 + 40-foot refrigerated containers per week, with additional capacity available. To future-proof our business, we have acquired a 20,000 sqaure-meter site in a prime and central location in Auckland, providing easy access to the northern, southern, and southwestern motorways. We have ambitious plans for expansion.

Boasting the best facility in the southern hemisphere, we utilize the latest, most advanced, and innovative technology for ripening bananas, tropical fruits, and avocados. Our fully computer-operated and energy-efficient system ensures uniform ripening across our produce, with the primary goal of offering fresh fruit with an extended shelf life.

We visit our growers multiple times per year, cultivating long-lasting friendships while sourcing the finest tropical fruits globally. Our state-of-the-art ripening rooms, expansive facility, and energy-efficient practices set us apart as industry leaders.
